The types of questions

Attendee questions usually fall into a few groups. For each group you see below which information Robin needs.

Practical questions

These are the questions you hear at the info desk:

  • Travel and parking: when does the last train leave, where can I park? Add travel information and departure times to the practical info.
  • Catering: what are we eating, is there a vegetarian option? Include the catering schedule and dietary options.
  • Venue: where is room X, where is the cloakroom? Describe the rooms and facilities of the venue.

Questions about the program

When does the next session start, who is speaking, what is a workshop about? Robin answers this based on the program and speaker information you provide. Make sure times, rooms and short descriptions are correct.

Personal questions

Which workshop suits me, who could I network with? Robin gives personal advice. Robin bases suggestions on the event data you provide, such as the program and attendee info you choose to share.

How to cover them in advance

Go through these groups when you prepare your event data. If information is missing, Robin cannot answer that question specifically. A good event FAQ helps.
